DETAILS: The North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics, NCSSM, Borden Mace Library is looking to hire a Librarian, Library Science graduate student, or Information Science professional to work two evenings a week, every other Sunday evening, and four Saturdays. Between 10 and 15 hours per week are available. provides management reference/information services in the
Curriculum/Education
Resource Laboratory
DETAILS: ALA-accredited master’s degree in library science required. Minimum three (3) years
experience in an
academic library; supervisory experience preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively both
orally and in writing; ability to plan and independently perform
specialized
administrative tasks; knowledge of Integrated Library Systems (ILS) and
willingness to learn systems used by USMAI Library Consortia; knowledge
of and
experience with software programs, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and
PowerPoint; ability to work with the general public including but not
limited
to university faculty, staff and students.
