All SLIS Students (especially those in the MIS Program) are invited to the ASIS&T Student Chapter meeting on Tuesday March 28, 2006, starting at 5:30 pm with refreshments in the Student Lounge (333 Shepard Library) and a panel discussion in 332 Shepard. The panel is "What We Learned at ASIS&T 2005 Conference." Student speakers will be Kristy Daughtry, Lisa Dempson, and Chevella Thomas. (They will be joined by Faculty who attended: Deborah Swain, Antonio Hill, Eun-Young Yoo, Frank Exner, and Tamika McCollough.)

The meeting agenda includes proposing a slate of officers for 2006-2007, sharing ideas on MIS Program Tracks, discussing the possibility of online courses, possible ACM affiliation, and the 2006 ASIS&T Conference in Austin, Texas. It promises to be an interesting meeting!
